Originally from Port of Spain, Trinidad, Dr. Harding migrated to New York in 1975 where she finished high school and continued onto college. In 1982, she graduated Cum Laude, with a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Medgar Evers College of the City Universities of New York-Brooklyn. After graduation, she spent a year teaching Basic Chemistry at Brooklyn College as she prepared herself for Medical School. In 1983, Dr. Harding was accepted into the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and four years later, she graduated with her Medical Degree. Her residency was completed at Suny Health Science Center at Brooklyn/Kings County Hospital, New York in 1991. A year later, Dr. Harding moved south to Florida, where she has lived for seventeen years.
Throughout her seventeen years in Florida, Dr. Harding worked in various types of practices in search of what direction she would enjoy most to continue her career. High risk pregnancy is her passion, so when an opportunity arose at OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches, she took it.
"I had the opportunity to practice High Risk pregnancy alongside two start Perinatalogists and really focus on what I do best; administering care to patients with complicated conditions and really make a difference in their lives and affect good perinatal outcomes."
Currently, Dr. Harding is the Division Chief of Obstetrics at St. Mary's Medical Center, and has been for the past two years.
Dr. Harding is the proud mother of two children, Achim and Maya. In her spare time, she enjoys "Island hopping" and fine dining. |
