Donna Pinelli, M.D., FACOG is board-certified in Gynecologic Oncology as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, with 17 years experience in her specialties.  Fourteen years ago Dr. Pinelli started her busy practice that now spans most of Palm Beach County, Florida.  Currently, she practices at the Ob/Gyn Specialists of the Palm Beaches, P.A., Jupiter and Wellington offices.  She spends most of her time operating, and is on staff at several area hospitals.

Dr. Pinelli spent her undergraduate years at the University of Virginia and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University.  Dr. Pinelli moved to Florida in 1989, for four years of residency in OB/GYN and three years in the Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of South Florida (USF), Tampa General Hospital and the Moffit Cancer Center. 

Since High School, Dr. Pinelli had envisioned herself helping women who have cancer.  As she moved forward, her decision to become a sub specialist in women's cancers was positively reinforced throughout medical school and residency training.  It was a long road, as they are very few Gynecologic Oncologists (about 1200 board certified in the country) and getting a fellowship is difficult. 

Today, Dr. Pinelli is a Gynecologic Oncologist, a specialist in women's cancers and complicated gynecologic problems.  She performs advance laparoscopy, and radical pelvic and cancer surgery.  She is also now one of the few da Vinci surgeons for advanced laparoscopic (robotic) and radical surgery for women.  She covers most of the hospitals in Palm Beach County.

Outside of work, Dr. Donna Pinelli is married with three small children.  As a family, they enjoy boating, swimming and the Florida lifestyle on the weekends.  She is also involved in several charitable organizations both locally and nationally.  She is active in events for the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society, and the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, among others.
