Anne Jeffries, MPH, CNM, is a Certified Nurse Midwife at the West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter offices of OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches.
With six years of Practice as a Nurse Practitioner and 13 years as a Nurse Midwife, Mrs. Jeffries has been working in the medical field for nearly two years. She began her education in New Orleans, pursuing Latin American Studies, Public Health and Tropical Medicine. After receiving her degrees from Tulane she moved to Colorado, where she earned her Master's Degree in Nurse Midwifery at the University of Colorado in 1996.
Mrs. Jeffrie's passion lies with her interest in international, public and community health, where women and children are identified as an "at risk" population. To further pursue these interests she is currently working on her PhD in Public Health at the Florida International University in Miami.
Mrs. Jeffries is a clinical preceptor for Florida Atlantic University graduate students. She has been teaching obstetrics and gynecology to Nurse Practitioner students since 2005. She is also involved with the charitable organization, MIMA; a medical mission to Bolivia.
Mrs. Jeffries has been married for 33 years and has a son and daughter. She is bilingual in Spanish and works with ceramics in her spare time.
