Michael E. Boon, MN, CNM, ARNP, is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner at the OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches.

Boon has 19 years of experience and loves his profession. "I've always had a fascination with infants, maternal child bonding and the childbirth process." He chose the field of Midwifery because, "it was a way to integrate my fascination with a career that offered an alternative to the predominate view of childbirth that was prevalent in the late 70's and early 80's."

Florida native, Boon earned his Masters in Nursing and specialization in Midwifery from the University of Florida.

Outside of his profession, Boon has volunteered on two Medical Missionary Trips to Mexico. He also sponsors a child through World Vision.

Michael Boon has a son and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys exploring the outdoors by kayaking and fishing. He also enjoys photography, mining, computers and jewelry making.
