Advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery is a term which includes surgery performed via small incisions in the abdomen (laparoscopy) as well as surgery performed inside of the uterus through the cervix (hysteroscopy).  Most types of surgery that have been done through traditional incisions can also be performed via laparoscopy.

Examples of this type of surgery would include ovarian cyst removal, hysterectomy, bladder or vaginal "lift" procedures, as well as some types of cancer surgery.  We have several physicians in our practice who are trained at advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures and are available for consultation regarding these types of surgeries.
